Guppy

Guppy is a wonderful 7 year old GWP x Lab based in Northumberland.
Heartbreakingly, Guppy’s owner very unexpectedly passed away recently and so Guppy is looking for a new home. He’s had 7 years of devotion and is an absolutely cracking lad who deserves the very best in his new home.
Unlike a lot of our dogs, Guppy hasn’t had a difficult background and is used to living in a home environment and used to all the comforts home life has to offer. We’re looking for a patient, dedicated and loving home who can pick up the pieces for this lovely chap and carry on all the work and love his owner has put in.
Guppy is confident, enthusiastic and energetic as you’d expect for his breed and very clever, having completed his level 1 man trailing recently as well as his Bronze level UK Sniffer Dog Course. He may be 7 but he certainly hasn’t got that memo and is very young at heart and just a pure joy to be around! He has promising recall off lead already but a new family should be prepared to work on this before letting him off lead. He can pull a little on his lead at times but he is very food motivated which helps with all his training!
Guppy currently lives with a female resident dog and could live in a home with another dog, although we think he would prefer to live with another female. He could also live as an only dog in the right home.
