Rubio is a very handsome Irish setter who was surrendered by his hunter. He has a gorgeous, long, dark red coat and the ladies at the shelter say he’s very elegant in appearance. He’s a cheerful and playful lad who’s extremely sociable with other dogs at the shelter and currently sharing his kennel with a female setter. The pair get along famously together so Rubio could happily live in a home with another dog, or on his own.
Rubio is a very active lad as you’d expect for a setter. He’s full of beans and has boundless energy. He’s extraordinarily affectionate and adores people, always longing for their attention and company and comes running when he hears his name called.
Rubio has not yet been cat tested but can be for the right home.
