Polo

Polo is a very handsome English setter who was found wandering the streets alone by a young woman. He was taken to one of the shelters we work very closely with and arrived looking very sorry for himself. He was very thin and had wounds on his skin which have thankfully all healed up now and he’s looking much better!
Polo is the ideal dog for many families. He’s a setter with balanced energy levels since he’s a little older so while he still loves his walks, he equally loves his nap times too! He’s a gentle and affectionate boy who loves people, although he can be a little bit shy at first until he gets to know you, but once he does, he is very loving. He’s great with other dogs at the shelter and could live on his own in his new home or with another dog in the household.
Polo has a really wonderful nature despite his rocky past. We now know he belonged to a hunter who kept him chained up in his warehouse. Thankfully he now has the chance of a wonderful new life.
Polo has not been cat tested but can be for the right home.
