Lar

Lar (now called Reggie) is in foster in Cumbria. He’s a fun, playful lad who always wants to be by your side and see what you’re up to. Reggie absolutely loves people and is a real cuddle bug. His tail is constantly wagging when he is with you and he’ll happily soak up as much fuss and affection as you can give. One of his favourite things is rolling onto his back for a tummy rub! He’s a very sweet boy with the cutest, dopey facial expressions.

Reggie has taken to toilet training brilliantly and has had very few accidents since arriving in foster. He loves his toys, enjoys enrichment games and is a proper foodie which helps with training! He’s already picked up some basic training at home and has good recall in low distraction environments.

Reggie is the most loving dog but missing out on early socialisation has left him feeling unsure about some parts of life. He was originally adopted by a wonderful young family with children and cats who did everything they could for him, but unfortunately it all proved a little overwhelming for Reggie. Since moving into foster in a quieter home, he’s come on brilliantly and is learning so much from the other dogs he lives with. He’s now looking for a home without young children and with people around most of the day. Reggie needs adopters will be happy to continue working with Reggie, without placing too many expectations on him. We’d also love for him to have one or more friendly resident dogs to play with and who can continue showing him the ropes.
