Boss

Boss is currently in foster in Hampshire. He’s a charming older setter who came to TSPP after being given up by his hunter because of his age. Boss arrived in foster in October and has proved himself to be the sweetest boy. He loves people and other dogs and is currently in foster with 3 resident dogs.
Boss loves his walks and really comes alive when he’s out and about. He’s a lovely example of an older setter who proves that age is just a number! He travels really well in the car, especially when he knows there’s a nice walk waiting for him at the other end.
As wonderful as Boss is, it’s clear that life hasn’t always been easy for him. He takes most things outdoors in his stride, but after years of being kept outside he can find small spaces and some indoors environments a little daunting. His foster family have been so patient with him and have done a lovely job helping him slowly build his confidence, and he’s already making progress.
He has quickly learned the joys of cuddles on the sofa but he needs a loving family who will give him the patience and support to gain confidence at his own pace in the home. Anyone willing to give him that little extra help and reassurance will be rewarded with a whole lot of love from this beautiful boy.
