Celta

Celta is a stunning English pointer from the south of the Spain. Originally rescued by a family after being a hunting dog, she soon got used to all the comforts a home has to offer but heartbreakingly for Celta, once they found out they were expecting a baby, she was left outside in a field. While we’ll never know the full story surrounding this, we do know Celta deserves to be in a home where she’ll get to stay. It’s taken months of work but she’s now safe in the home of a lovely rescuer we work with while we find her a home of her own!
She’s a real softie who absolutely loves to nuzzle up to people, an oversized lapdog that just melts into people. She is currently living with a lot of other dogs and can be a bit overwhelmed by it all which isn’t unusual but she would likely find it easier in a home with less dogs or she would undoubtedly lap up all the human attention she could as an only dog as she just loves being around people.
It’s early days but she is very polite in the house, waiting for food and toilet training. She will happily curl up on any pile of blankets she can, like she’s so glad to have some comfort back, even if it’s a dirty pile about to go in the wash!
