Cookie

Cookie is a handsome young setter, given up along with his sister Floss because the hunter had too many dogs. Cookie and Floss arrived at the shelter very scared and shut down. They are making steady progress and will now go outside with other dogs and people. However, they still find certain things, like having a lead put on or meeting new people, a bit frightening. Cookie remains quite shy, but he now allows the ladies at the shelter to give him a gentle stroke. He’s getting there, slowly but surely.

Cookie needs a quiet adult only home with a confident resident dog to show him the ropes and adopters that are happy to take things at Cookie’s pace while he learns that the world isn’t such a scary place.
