Hans

Hans is currently in foster in Winchester and is settling in brilliantly to home life! Like the vast majority of our dogs, he was unwanted by his hunter so made his way to the shelter thanks to the support of the people who donate to us to help with costs. He absolutely adores being outside and will happily spend hours in the garden if he gets the chance! When he’s indoors though, he loves nothing better than snuggling up with another dog or sitting on someone’s lap. Failing that, he’ll lie as close as possible to somebody! He’s been on a few adventures, including the pub, and has taken everything in his stride, happily relaxing at the pub with his foster family. Like most setters, his lead walking needs work but he walks nicely on the road where there’s less distractions already and also has good recall in the garden. He is a very very affectionate boy who has stolen the hearts of everyone who has met him!
