Hendy
D.O.B: 28/06/2014
Hendy is currently in foster in Perthshire.
Hendy was surrendered by her hunter, along with Rayo, after being considered ‘too old’ to keep. Hendy is a wonderfully balanced girl with a calm, gentle nature. Like any true setter, she is still very active for her age.
Since arriving at her foster home, Hendy is learning to relax now she has entered her retirement years! She is a confident, active older lady who has picked up home life well, including toilet training and cuddles! She still loves to run in a secure field, particularly chasing birds flying over but her loose lead walking is starting to come along nicely as well.
She’s great with other dogs and people and has even been to a group play session with other dogs which she loves! She really loves cuddles and the company of people at home and would be well suited to a home with people round most of the day, although she is becoming more independent with time too. She travels well in the car, ready for adventures!
Hendy is currently living with a resident dog and gets on well with him. She’s very happy sleeping cuddled up next to him but could equally be an only dog with people around for most of the day.
