Jim
D.O.B: 15/06/2017
Jim is a lovely English Setter who, sadly, has been passed from hunter to hunter, something that happens far too often. Lucky for Jim, his last hunter decided he wasn’t good enough and gave him up along with Thor and the two are now in one of the shelters we work closely with.
Jim is a wonderfully affectionate dog who loves attention and enjoys being petted. He is sociable, cheerful, and gentle with people, including children. Jim also gets along well with other dogs he knows and could happily live either as the only dog in the home or with others.
Jim is a very sweet boy. He friendly and social, yet calm, and he enjoys stretching out for long naps at the shelter. Once he’s had time to settle into a new home, the shelter believes he’ll make an excellent addition for someone who wants a dog they can take out and about with them. He shows no fear, and is affectionate and welcoming with everyone he meets. With slow, careful introductions, Jim could also live with cats. We may be able to cat test for the right home.
