Lar

Lar (now called Reggie) is a lovely lad who has been living in a home in Crawley since arriving from Spain in April. Unfortunately due to struggles in the household, he is sadly now looking for a new home.
Lar is a lovely, happy, and affectionate boy who was very confident while in the shelter. He lived happily alongside other dogs and got on well with every dog he met there. Unfortunately, he has found it difficult to fully settle into his current home environment which is busy with young children and a cat.
Lar absolutely adores human attention and is a real cuddle bug, his tail is always wagging and he happily soaks up every cuddle and bit of fuss he can get. He loves rolling onto his back to get his tummy rubbed. He’s a very cute boy with lovely dopey facial expressions.
Since arriving, Lar has shown himself to be naturally clean in the house and has had very few accidents. He’s started to enjoy all the comforts of life like dog beds, enrichment games with food and dog toys (the duck toy being his favourite!) He is attentive on walks and super food motivated, which will really help with any ongoing training. He has already learnt a few basic things at home and already has good recall in low-distraction environments, so with continued training and once fully settled, his recall shows promise long term.
Lar is looking for a quieter home without young children where he can relax, decompress, and settle at his own pace, ideally with people around for much of the day. He could also live with another dog following the right introductions.
