Leo is a very handsome English setter, abandoned by his hunter as he was no longer wanted.
He’s a very cheerful, sociable, playful and noble lad. He’s very affectionate and loves having a big fuss made of him, even by strangers. He doesn’t show any fears in the shelter environment and is great with playful, loving to play with them. He’s been great with the other dogs too and could live with a resident dog or as an only dog in the home.
If you look closely at Leo’s eye, you can see what the rescue were told was an injury from a stick. However, after seeing a specialist, we are told that Leo sees perfectly, the ophthalmologist explained that his condition developed during pregnancy; as the eye forms during the fetal stage, two muscles separate to create the eye, and sometimes fine strands form between them during that separation and those strands are visible if you look closely at his eye.
Leo has been cat tested and can live with a cat in his new home.
