Oltra

D.O.B: 21/12/2020
Oltra is a beautiful English Setter. She comes from an illegal breeder who sold her to a hunter. The hunter taught Oltra using a shock collar. Since she wasn’t good at hunting, he ‘fried her with electric shocks’ to try and make her do what he wanted. These were the exact words told to the shelter when they took her from the illegal breeder after she was returned by the hunter as he couldn’t get her to hunt like he wanted.
Despite all that, she is a very happy and playful dog, full of life and with a balanced energy. She loves to play with all dogs and encourages them to play with her. She gets along with everyone. She is currently living in a house as the lovely lady who runs the shelter took her home while she recovered from being spayed but she’s adapted so well to living in her house and with her resident dogs, that she’s staying until she finds a new family. She’s very good natured, submissive and affectionate. She’s also good with children. She walks well on her lead at the moment and she’s used to the a home routine now and toilets outside, although her house training may take a step back when she moves homes so she will still need some support and a patient adopter. Oltra has also been cat tested and can live with cats
