Pearl

Pearl is a viz x lab who is sadly looking for a new home since her owners have passed away. She is currently in foster in Newcastle-upon-Tyne until she finds her perfect home.
Pearl is 8 years old and described as an absolute dream! She loves people, especially women, and other dogs. She’s attracted some doggy admirers in her local park! She walks really well on a lead and has good recall. She loves a leisurely stroll more than anything else.
In the house, she sleeps most of the day and as long as she has a comfy bed, she’s quite happy! She loves her home comforts and is partial to a spot on the sofa too! She currently lives with one resident dog in her foster home and previously lived with one other so she is used to sharing her space with other dogs but would equally be ok without another dog in a home with people round most of the day.
Being part lab, she of course loves her food, although she’s not a total gannet and will leave other dogs food alone! She’s very well trained and although she may take some steps back when first joining a new family, we expect she’ll pick things up quickly and settle in well.
Pearl has not lived with a cat before that we know of but isn’t phased by them on walks.
Pearl has no medical issues other than a hernia on her belly that’s been there for many years and doesn’t need medical attention.
