After living in a cage his whole life and being used as a hunting tool, Pol’s hunter abandoned him for not being good enough at hunting. He needed to make room for another younger dog, so Pol had to go… Probably the best thing to happen to Pol his whole life! Pol is simply an incredible dog. He’s sociable, happy and noble in character. He’s got a wonderful nature and is great with children, dogs and cats. He adores people and loves to be in their company, taking advantage any time he can get a fuss. He doesn’t show any fear at the shelter and even lets himself by handled by strangers. Pol is the perfect dog for families looking for a slightly calmer setter who enjoys moments of calmness while still being active, he’s the perfect walking buddy. He could live in a home with other dogs or as an only dog. He’s medium in size and has a lovely soft coat despite his tough life so far.
