Reyna

Reyna is a very pretty Brittany x. Her background is a bit different to a lot of the dogs we help as she is used to living in a home environment. She was given up because her owner goes out to work every day and Reyna was needing to be left for very long hours, and sadly her owner could no longer look after her. Reyna is quite a shy and cautious girl and it takes her time to trust new people. She is a proper foodie so the team at the shelter have been giving her treats which has helped win her over and now she is happy to be petted and have a little tummy tickle!
Dogs that are used to living in homes really struggle in shelters, so Reyna has been set up with a bed in the office to try and make it a bit easier for her so that she doesn’t need to be in a loud kennel. She is very clean in there, and doesn’t go to the toilet until she’s outside at the shelter where she also has a good run around!
Reyna has clearly had quite a sheltered life, she’s not used to living with other dogs but she is okay with them at the shelter so could live with other dogs in the home. We would love to get her out of the shelter ASAP into a quiet home where her world can be as small as she needs it to be and that is happy for Reyna to take her time finding out all about the world! She has also been cat tested and can live with cats with careful introductions.
