Thor is currently in foster in London.
Thor is a Brittany x Springer and was rescued from Andalusia along with Linda. Their history is a bit different, although they have been used as hunting dogs, they have treated a lot better than most of the dogs we help. Sadly their owner became terminally ill, and his wife was unable to look after the dogs as well as taking care of her husband. The pair stood little chance of finding a loving home in their region of Spain so we took them under our wing and Thor landed himself a wonderful foster home. Thor is a lovely bouncy boy – he certainly puts the spring in springer!! The only thing he loves more than running about and playing with toys, is love and affection from people! He loves to play with other dogs but will equally make his own fun, and thrives off enrichment and loves to play with toys. Although he’s 2 years old, he is very much a puppy at heart still so is being taught manners, however he’s a clever cookie and his training is going very well and he’s picking up on his house manners quickly. Thor is a big cuddle monster and would love an active family and would do best with a resident dog to play with. He walks nicely on the lead at the moment and, although it’s early days, does show some promising signs of recall training using his much loved ball. He sleeps well at night and his toilet training is going well but he may take a step backwards with these things with the change of a new home so adopters will still need to help him with his training.
