Zeus arrived at the shelter alongside Inca and Luis after they were surrendered by a hunter who also breeds dogs in the Basque Country. As Zeus got older, he was no longer wanted, despite spending years as a loyal hunting dog. Thankfully, this fresh start is the best thing that could have happened to him and now he has the chance to spend his retirement with a loving family of his own.
Zeus has a wonderful temperament and is very sociable with other dogs. He shares his kennel with Inca and Lys and gets along well with everyone around the shelter. He has a healthy appetite and is happy to eat alongside the other dogs without any issues over food.
He loves spending time in the outdoor play area with his friends and always comes running when he sees the ladies who look after him at the shelter. Zeus has a very sweet, gentle nature and enjoys nothing more than being fussed over and stroked. He is a kind, affectionate boy who deserves a home where he can enjoy the love and care he has always deserved. He can be cat tested for the right home.
