Senda

D.O.B: 15/05/2017

Senda is currently in Derbyshire and has settled really well in her foster home after her initial adoption didn’t work out (through no fault of Senda’s). Senda has a lovely, gentle nature and has adapted well to life in a home and enjoys being around people. She has also been a natural with toilet training with no accidents, she sits and waits nicely for her treats and gets on well with her foster doggy siblings.

Senda loves playing in the garden and in her first home she always encouraged her sister Mara to have a game of chase. She also enjoys playing with tennis ball, even if she hasn’t quite worked out that she’s supposed to bring it back! She has been absolutely fine being left home alone for short periods of time and her foster family say she is the perfect dog. She hasn’t lived as an only dog in the UK, but there is no reason to think that she wouldn’t cope as long as she had people around for most of the day.

On walks, Senda loves checking out hedges looking for pheasants and rabbits. But unlike a lot of setters we help, she’s actually quite easy to walk, she doesn’t pull much and is just happy to be out and about. She has also recently found the joy of splashing around in water and is quite the water baby!

Senda is currently living with a very confident cat, and she gets very excited around him! So therefore we are ideally looking for a cat free home to set her up to succeed but will consider applications who are happy to take introductions slow and steady and are able to keep the dogs and cats apart for the foreseeable. Senda can live with older children.

Please note: Although this dog is currently in UK foster, they originated from Spain, so the Spanish adoption fee applies.
