Cholo

D.O.B: 14/06/2016

Cholo is a lovely older boy who was given up by his hunter when he became too old. This is all too common for older setters, dogs who have given years of loyalty to their hunters, only to be cast aside when they are no longer wanted. But we’re hopeful that this will be the best thing to happen to Cholo, and that his retirement years will be filled with the love and comfort he has always deserved.

Cholo is a larger setter with a calm, balanced nature. He gets along well with the other dogs at the shelter and shares his kennel happily with others. Cholo enjoys soaking up the sunshine in his favourite spots and loves having a run around outside with the other dogs. In typical working setter fashion, he is an active lad for his age. Cholo hasn’t been cat tested but can be for the right home.
