Jara

Jara is a wonderful young setter. Unlike a lot of our dogs, Jara has already lived in a home in Spain after her hunter didn’t want her and gave her to another man. Her owner then moved to another city and he decided he did not want to take her with him so he returned her to the hunter who gave her to the rescue we work closely with in Spain.
The ladies at the shelter describe her as an active, cheerful, playful, affectionate and gentle with people. She’s a great girl who can slot into a lot of homes and she also absolutely loves water! She’s great with other dogs and loves to play. She is accustomed to home life, having life with an apartment previously and she can is also used to living as an only dog, although can equally live with another dog in the household.
She is small to medium in size for a female working setter, weighing 14kg at the moment. She has beautiful, long, soft coat. She has been tested and can live in a home with a cat with careful introductions.
