Sam is a lovely friendly setter, another surrendered by a hunter because he wasn’t wanted for hunting. He is a quite large compared to a lot of working setters we help and he’s got a lovely elegant build.
He is sociable with other dogs and is currently sharing a kennel with two other setters, and they all happily share their space and food without any problems.
He loves going out into the enclosed part of the shelter and spends his time chasing flies, butterflies or anything else that moves (a typical working setter!)
Sam is very affectionate with people and loves being close to them. He especially enjoys attention, cuddles and being fussed! He can live with older children and can be cat tested for the right home.
