Senda is an beautiful setter who was given up, along with her sister Mara, simply because she wasn’t suited to hunting. She is a sweet and loving little dog.
She shares a kennel with her sister, Mara, and the two are very close, happily sharing both space and food.
When Senda first arrived, she was a little scared and unsure, but with time she has begun to come out of her shell. Day by day, she’s growing in confidence and learning to feel safe in her surroundings. She’s still a sensitive soul, so she would do best with a calm resident dog in a home where she can continue to build trust at her own pace.
With people, Senda is gentle, submissive, and very affectionate. She forms strong attachments and enjoys being close to those she trusts. She’s also responsive and obedient, coming when called although this will likely change as she grows in confidence. Senda can be cat tested for the right home.
