Dora is a beautiful older girl who has found herself looking for a new home after being surrendered simply because she is now considered too old to hunt. But don’t let her age fool you – Dora still has plenty of love, energy, and joy to share.
She is sociable and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Dora currently shares her kennel with Boss, a fellow ‘senior’ setter, and the two have formed a lovely companionship. They enjoy spending time together and love playing together in the enclosed field.
With people, Dora can be a little shy at first as she takes a moment to feel safe with new faces. However, once she gets to know you, she quickly blossoms into a cheerful, affectionate, and loving companion.
Dora is still quite active but would love to find a home where she can enjoy gentle exercise, companionship, and a comfortable sofa.
